Waiver Wire Hitters
Eddie Rosario, OF, WAS
Rosario is hitting almost .500 over the last week with a massive .400 BABIP and 3 stolen bases. After starting the year with a batting average of .083, the Nats stuck with the veteran, and it’s starting to pay off. Rosario has only struck out twice in 5 games and, while he’s dicey in Roto because of his .169 BABIP on the season, I’m going to ride the hot hand, especially in 5 OF leagues.
Jon Singleton, 1B, HOU
Joey Loperfido’s call-up has lead to him being a platoon outfield guy and Singleton getting the bulk of the starts at 1B. His power is massive and his bat flips are so, so beautiful. Great source of power if you can deal with a low batting average.
Max Kepler, OF, MIN
A 14-game hitting streak and strikeout rate of about 16% have translated to success for Kepler. He seems to be completely forgotten in draft season then turns it on and becomes a valuable contributor in fantasy. Good all-around player, probably better in points, but solid roto/cats option, too.
Josh Rojas, INF, SEA
Rojas most likely has eligibility at 2B and 3B, and he’s getting everyday playing time. He moved up to leadoff with JP Crawford on the shelf, could be a nice boost. He isn’t chasing as much as he has historically, so he’s making himself more valuable as time goes on.

Waiver Wire Pitchers
Reese Olson, SP, DET
He had one bump in the road in his 2nd start of the season against the Pirates. Every other outing, though, has been as good as you can ask for. No more than 2 ERs in any other start outside of that in Pittsburgh. He should be rostered as much as possible, especially with this quietly awesome pitching staff Detroit has put together.
Dean Kremer, SP, BAL
Kremer might be more widely owned than what you’d see on a waiver rec, but please check. When rotations are top-down great, you want a piece of it.
He’s another one who had one less than stellar start, but otherwise is sitting around 3 ER per start, and is holding a respectable 9.2 K/9 and a 1.02 WHIP so far this season. He’s a solid cats/roto guy and will be a good spot start in points leagues and daily drafts.
Taj Bradley, SP, TB
Bradley shredded one of the best hitting teams in baseball as he produced a 30% CSW (called strikes and whiffs) rate against the Yankees. 7Ks against the Bombers in his first game up was all I needed to see. He’s a priority add in points and cats, and I’d do whatever I can to get him on my team.
Reliever Watch
These guys are better for saves + holds leagues, will help with ratios, or have a chance to get some saves or become the closer down the line.
